Why Organic Teas? Organic processes generally produce higher higher grade teas. At Blackberry Pond Tea Company, we do not support the use of commercial fertilizers and pesticides. These chemicals are ingested when one drinks non-organic tea, erasing the health and mental benefits derived from drinking tea. Because of the extra time and effort involved in cultivating organic teas, they can be a bit more expensive. As environmentalists, we are doing our part to reduce exposure of dangerous chemicals to customers and the people in third world countries who pick our teas. At Blackberry Pond we are passionate about tea and its health benefits. We want our customers to experience the reflective and artful joy in a pot or cup of our international teas.
